Probably not the best of titles for a blog but here goes nothing...( or something simple)
If life was easy it would be like a waterfall. Just dropping into 100ft chasms without a thought or a worry in the world. It's not.
Instead life is somewhat like an isolated stream trapped within the confines of a tropical rainforest deeply remote in parts unknown. The water is saturated with dead leaves and branches fallen off some rotted bark somewhere upstream entrenched between the rocks that act as nature's filters.
It's ironic life mimic's nature in an uncanny kind of way. Mostly in this densely populated city we often get trapped in our own little fantasies chasing. Dreams we all do. Only when those dreams get shattered we get lost in translation.
When that happens we try to climb back upstream and start the cycle again. When we are in the cradles of success we think we are all invincible. We try to hard nose everything standing in our way. Only to realise that we are not as pugilistic as we would like to think.
Well...I am much older now (i certainly hope just a little wiser), hoping again to start that ever evolving goal we all try to attain. Success...spelt in many versions through out the years have not changed much. In the end we can only 'walk the walk'.
A little tired and a little jaded now. My way of making peace with myself is to accept my own shortcomings and ride the storm. It's just that sometimes I just feel like a can of soup on the shelf with an expiry date hoping for a better ending. Time's up.
